6th grade students were studying about ancient Greek and Roman history in Social Study class and reading Greek myths.
Students explored the symbols used in Greek vase paintings and sculptures to show identity.
Each student designed and created scratch art drawing of one Greek or Roman god or goddess that they identified with.
Then they drew their self-portrait on Greek vase shape as that god or goddess
