Everyday for 4 weeks summer school STEAM residency using the Columbia College’s Scientist for Tomorrow: Ecology: People and Plants program.
5th grade student’s integrated the visual arts into the Columbia College’s program, by turning the vertical garden box into a sculpture.
Students did the entire cutting and drilling of wood, and decorating the box, and adding the live plants.
