The Kindergarteners were studying about the idea of community and how they were a part of this community. Students planned and created their own self-portrait. Then student brained stormed different things found in a community, and drew 4 small drawings of what one may find in a community. Students put these drawing into the pocket of their self-portrait sculpture so they could carry their community with them.
