7th grade students were interpreting the painting "Self portrait with Dr. Juan Farill", by Frida Kahlo, and other paintings by her.
During our discussions we talked about how Frida often showed herself more than once, or with other people’s portraits in the same painting to express her identity.
Students planned and created duel self-portraits drawings to express their identity.
