6th grade students were studying about ancient Greek and Roman history in Social Study class and reading Greek myths.
Students explored the symbols used in Greek vase paintings to show journeys.
Each student designed and created scratch art drawing of a Greek or Roman journey myth on Greek vase shape.
Artwork shows Hercules fighting the Hydra part of the 12 labors of Hercules on his journey to redeem himself.
