January 2015
3rd grades students were studying about communities. Students interpreted the work of street artist JR. They scanned and analyzed how JR used large-scale photographs to express the people who live in those communities. They then planned and created their own wood sculpture building for a community of the future. Students took photographs of other classmates, and added their own photograph to their sculpture.
